Wayfinder Beer, based in Portland Oregon, is a lager-centric brewery that combines old and new school lager techniques to push the envelope of what lager can be. The founders of Wayfinder, lager fanatics themselves and proselytizers of cool fermentation, installed a dedicated decoction vessel to achieve malt complexities otherwise unattainable. The beers are a mix of tradition and science, a blending of ancient brewing tactics, newer Narziß-style German precision, and the swagger of American Craft. Although we are rewriting the definition of lager for the next generation of craft beer enthusiasts, we are bringing with it the traditions of Europe and America’s favorite beer.
WHAT'S NEW
Dreaded "Dry January" is coming up. This is a stressful time for breweries and bottleshops everywhere.
Personally, I don't believe in that nonsense. I think that is why weekdays were invented...except for Thursdays and Fridays. Technically that is part of my weekend!
Wayfinder is the creator of the Cold IPA and has some great beers!
Revision made their way back to Idaho! The end of December you will see Revision, Lead Dog, and Electric Eye make its way into Idaho. All of these breweries are under the Revision "umbrella".
Lead Dog is breaking away from the Revision team next month and may not be back to Idaho. If everyone loves Lead Dog I will reach out to the owner and see if we can keep up the Idaho distribution.
